Hi everyone. I was referred to this site by Logyboy after meeting him this past weekend. I am a Sales Consultant at MacIsaac Mazda in Charlottetown, PEI and am very happy to see a Mazda 3 website dedicated to owners here in Atlantic Canada. I am also a member of the Maritime Miata Club and we are in the process of becoming a distributor for Racing Beat products. I hope to meet some members and would appreciate any input on what kind of parts people would be interested in for their 3s. I want to cater to Mazda enthusiasts so throw some ideas my way and I'll do my best. I am also an avid motorcylclist, snowboarder, and pilot for Skydive Moncton. Feel free to drop in and say hi anytime anyone is near MacIsaac Mazda or Skydive Moncton.

Welcome.
Would you be interested in AutoXing your Miata (I am guessing you have one)? You should come out to Slemon Park the long weekend of August. Come for a visit. Lots of Mazdas and Miatas.

Thank you for the welcomes everyone.
I have gone to watch at Slemon Park before and have it marked on my calendar. I have access to a 2001 Miata so might take part if I'm not flying that weekend. I want our dealership to be a presence at events like this so maybe I can bring a Speed 3 along.
I've also taken my motorcycles to Atlantic Motorsports Park in Shubenacadie, NS. On the track clean up day, we split the track time with the cars and there were a couple of Miatas and a Mazdaspeed Protege on the track.
While on the talk of the Speed Protege, what's everyone's thoughts? I've seen a couple for sale and thought they might be an interesting ride for the money.

At Slemon we will have 2 Speed 3's there for sure. There was 3 last year but we have 2 counted on for entry.
Not that familiar with the MSP but they are good cars from what I have heard. Not the brute that the MS3 is but have some good power.
There is a guy in Saint John that has a grey one that has been worked on this winter and it sounds like it will be pretty strong.

I do. I used to live in Moncton for 10 years but moved back to PEI 6 years ago. I have a travel trailer and portable garage in Moncton so go there every weekend from May-November to fly skydivers. Its nice to get away and let's me justify owning my motorcycles which make the commute alot cheaper (gas and bridge).
